Nostalgia Media, a leading producer of nostalgic, lifestyle contents, has announced their new program #Slowparenting, which aims to help parents reconnect or sustain connection with their children and enjoy the pleasures of family life.
The program, which will air every Wednesday, on https://nostalgiamedia.net/live-radio/ and other online platforms, will feature seasoned and knowledgeable Resource Persons on family issues, and particularly, parent-child communication issues.
Guest families would also be invited to share their experiences on specific issues, including tips on how they practice family bonding, in today’s fast-paced world.
#Slowparenting is a concept that advocates ethical, traditional, cultural time-tried parenting principles and practices grounded in family bonding over time, for all time, as against the individualistic, trend focused lifestyles being adopted by most families now, across all cultures.
#Slowparenting at once recognizes the uniqueness of the individual, and the support base the family needs to be, for that unique individual survive and excel inspite of the many distractions and challenges of everyday life, of the present times and beyond.
“Nostalgia Media is all about bringing back the good old days and making people feel good about themselves, their families and roots.
With #Slowparenting, we want to engender the greater uptake of the respect for family and cultural values because it our firm belief that individuals make up families, families make up the society. When individuals are accountable to their families, the society would have returned to a tradition of accountability, which is lacking in every sphere of our modern world, which we believe is responsible for the many ills in world today, across all cultures, religions and regions of the world.
Nostalgia Media is expectant, that #Slowparenting would not only entertain and educate its followers, but also inspire them to adopt a ethical, more interactive approach to parenting and life in general.
The program will feature on Radio Nostalgia Every Wednesday, from February the 8th, 2024, at 7 p.m. Nigeria time, 1p.m. EST ( Canada and US), with Season 1 featuring 71/2 Temptations Parents Face.
It will also be available on Nostalgiamedia.net, YouTube channel, and other social media pages.
